Marietta Square Weekend Events in Marietta, GA

If you ever drove by the square and noticed some white tents you may be wondering what is going on? Well Marietta Square hosts a variety of fun weekend events at the square! A lot of these events are kid friendly and different themes that you will likely find something you like!

You can check out the site https://visitmariettaga.com/events/ to find current events and what is going on!

My favorite is the art weekend events where they have many vendors selling arts and crafts! Lots of fun things to see and support your local artists here in Georgia.

Parking

When you’re coming to the square to park for an event or even for a scheduled local business. You may be wondering where can I park? How long can I park for and is it relatively safe? There are several 2hour strictly enforced parking spaces near the square all over and one lot next to the Marietta Museum also has 2hour parking enforced 8am – 6pm, after 6pm it’s unlimited. If you drive in and can’t find any free parking there is always the Waverly lot parking lot for $6 flat fee and you can pay via text link, you will need your space # and your license plate # to enter. It’s unlimited parking (within reason) and you can be certain you won’t go over 2hours and no ticket after your fun day!

I personally have parked on street and at the lot with no issues other than it can get very snug to fit larger vehicles, so you may opt for the large parking lot to avoid your larger vehicles being dinged.
