How do you know which service is best? Read below to learn more!
Microblading use to be the go to brow service, but it’s not ideal for all skin types.
Microblading was the original service that was such a greate choice since Permanent makeup had not advanced yet. Well thankfull it has! Powder Brow is better for one main very big reason and that is how it lasts so much longer than Microblading. Microblading causes more trauma to the skin, it makes large tears and implants pigment. Sounds painful right? Fortuntately most PMU is done with numbing cream and breaks during sessions. Powder brow using a small needle in a machine typical to a tattoo machine. It implants pigment with less stroke than a normal tattoo machine to give a light airy look. Overtime this will fade too! Depending on your brows, skin, aftercare, lifestyle and other factors your brows may fade quickly! Especially if you love to get chemical peels 2x a year, constantly in the water or sun!
Microblading gone bad?
Why I don’t recommend Microblading is mainly due the fact when it heals and overtime the strokes blend together and just do not look ideal. Most of us fill in our brows anyway and don’t fill in our brows with strokes – right?
Now say you got Microblading but -hate- the results?! Then what? First, we cry and sulk “Why did I go get these $100 eyebrows” just kidding but do consider how much you’re paying, free brows or under 200 typically means a student or novice artist will be working on your brows. NOTHING is wrong with that, however, you want to just make sure you consider all factors before comitting. Yes, it’s “semi” permanent but let’s be honest depending on their method and technique it can be very permanent. Saline or Pico laser are the only removal options, regular laser tattoo removal will likely damage your hair. I personally offer Saline removal and it is a challenging journey. However, to get the best brows you want this is likely the course you will need to take.
So when researching permanent makeup in and area Atlanta metro area take so much into consideration such as experience, photos of work and what you’re willing to pay! I truly believe all artists should know saline removal. We are not perfect and make mistakes! Thanks to LI lift solution this has saved my butt a few times!
